Calendar – we meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month.  The date change was approved in September.  Our March meeting will be at Hardin Valley unless we hear differently from Magnolia Avenue representative or Division Street representative.  Debi Bolton suggested a speaker for our March meeting.  He won’t speak unless there are 100 people in attendance, so we discussed having students and other staff attend.  Mary Bledsoe suggested a Play@Work theme. It was suggested that the Counseling department come up with some relaxation techniques.  Members are urged to send all suggestions to Lois.

Lois reminded everyone to get in their nominations for Outstanding Employees.  She also encouraged everyone to support the Support Staff Council’s White Elephant sale.  Proceeds go to scholarships.  The Faculty Book Sale is also coming up.

Online auction – we need to raise $1500 for our scholarship.  Lois asked for suggestions for the fund raiser.  Brooke made a motion to have the online auction again this year.  Mary Bledsoe seconded the motion.  All were in favor; there were no dissenting  votes.  There was discussion concerning the dates for the auction.  The decision was to have the auction April 10th – 12th.  We will advertise on the closed circuit TV, in Panther Pause and via email.  The Auction Committee members are: Pat Myers, Brooke Pannell, Trent Clagg, Mary Bledsoe and Fonda Vickery.
